We want to model this roofing system, and be able to output cut sheets for the components.

This is our simple sketch system for producing a lamella truss effect. It is essentially a curtain wall system housing the "truss" component. The size/shape of the curtain grid defines the size&angle of the truss component.
Make a massing (solid form->extrude) -> Curtain System by Face -> pick the Custom curtain panel type.
Sorta based on the curtain family tutorial...
The next version is going to be using face based families... but not how you think! Stay tuned.

Another shot at Lamela, still based on curtain wall, but simplifying the component.
